    A League of Their Own

Our family is split right down the middle, but I believe that she did not drop the ball on purpose. My thoughts: Throughout the film, Dottie does not give anything away to Kit for free. Dottie gives Kit opportunity ("a chance to shoot"), but does not give away achievements. As an example: In...

    A League of Their Own

While we're talking about Tom Hanks ... Most of my family really likes the movie "A League of Their Own." Long story short ... we get in some heated arguments over whether or not Dottie drops the ball on purpose at the end of the World Series. For those of you out there who have seen the...

    Movies made for a reason

Sometimes I think that such movies go along with the idea that if you want to keep something secret, just publish it on a billboard. It reminds me of the scene from "High Anxiety" They're trying to sneak by security, so they choose to be loud and annoying, rather than conspicuous.

    Great to be here.

I don't think I follow the seasons with the classics ... but I used to watch "Dunston Checks In" a lot during one summer when I was a kid. So sometimes if I want to feel like I'm on summer vacation, I will watch that.

    The Klopeks

All of this is making very curious to see his parents! (Or at least their skulls)

Welcome! Any idea if the Succubus plans on joining?

    The Klopeks

I think TheIncubus brings up an interesting thought ... what role do Reuben and Hans play? I guess I wouldn't mind a leisurely life, living off The Doctor's salary in a place where the sardine juice flows like soda in Skip's fountain. And Art, you are damn lucky you didn't kill him in that blast.

    The great sequel debate

If we are limited to the characters we know and love ... then I think there would need to be a Klopek-like stimulus to spark some drama at Mayfield Place. The film definitely needs to have some people or event that counters the ideal quiet suburban setting. Of course, if we are allowed to go...

    Art's got a gun

I always wondered how many times Art has been out in the neighborhood with a gun. I thought about why Ray says that Art has "a" gun, rather than "his" gun. In this case ... I guess it really doesn't matter who the gun belongs to, and it doesn't matter if Art has been out with a gun before - it...

    Neighbors

I'm in a similar situation, where my neighbors all have at least 30 years one me...in many cases, it's more like 50-60 years. That makes me particularly useful in the winter when the shoveling needs to get done :) We don't have much in common for conversation, but they're all at least...

    Wrong Answer Game

It must have been the sound of them cooking... Wanna head over to the Klopek's house and get one of those cat sandwiches?

    That's a good idea...

Obviously, I would buy that game in a second. I think my favorite thing is that you're going with a Mayfield Place layout ... since it's a cul-de-sac, there is not really an end ... you just reach the entrance again!
