    Saturday morning cartoons

I caught on a little after that (born in 1984). My favorites were pretty much all Warner Bros.: Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Batman, Superman, Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, Tiny Toons. I remember watching Earthwork Jim, Freakazoid!, and Men in Black as well, but not quite as much.

    'Burbs Cartoon

I know it changes with every generation, but I think that fun Saturday morning cartoons (at least on non-cable stations) have all but disappeared. When I was a kid, even my parents liked our cartoons, and now none of us are very pleased with what's on. I grew up with the "Kids WB" lineup in...

    'Burbs Cartoon

Have you ever thought of a good premise for a cartoon version of The 'Burbs? As a kid, I always had fun snooping around the neighborhood. So I was thinking of a Saturday morning cartoon from the perspective of Ricky Butler and some neighborhood kids. The kids can spend a lot of time snooping...

    Limited Edition Shirt

You heard them say that it's limited edition. Well tomorrow morning I'm logging into the website ... and I'm not logging out until I've purchased a tee shirt. No one makes exclusive memorabilia in my Internet and gets away with it.

Soon Ray Peterson will be back

I was just looking at the name "Rays Yard" and it's so close to being a palindrome - that pesky little "d" is spoiling everything

    NBC Late Night

I agree. They had that technicality where he could still host "The Tonight Show," except in the 12:05 time slot. I was curious to see if Conan's argument would hold legally - that the Tonight Show is at 11:35 and has been for so many years. Either way ... if they want to think future, they...

    NBC Late Night

Is anyone here particularly passionate about the NBC late night line-up? I've generally either been out of the house or sleeping at that time of night, but the monologues have been interesting. Conan is supposedly working to book "A-List" talent before the Olympics start ... including our own...

Remember what you were saying about people in the North Pole, Art, people like Santa? People who wax their sleigh for the 800th time, and then snap? Well that's Santa! He's the one who vaults onto people's roofs, and sneaks in through people's chimneys. He's the one leaving gifts under the tree...
